What is the Seat Concepts KX450F and KX250F Race 2.0 Seat?
The Race 2.0 is a complete seat that gives your Kawasaki KX the grip it needs for fast laps and tough trails. Built-in ribs stop you from sliding backward when you hit the gas or forward when you brake hard. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. You can buy it as a Complete Seat or as a Cover Only.
Which KX models and years does it fit?
It fits the Kawasaki KX450F from 2019 on, the KX450FX, KX250F and KX250FX from 2021 on, and the KX450SR from 2022 to 2026. For the Grip Pro version, see the Grip Pro Seat.
What is the KX 250F seat height, and what does the Race 2.0 change?
Kawasaki gives the 2025 KX250 seat height as 37.6 inches, and its KX450 is 960 mm (37.8 inches). That is the KX 250F seat height, the Kawasaki KX250F seat height and the KX450F seat height before you change the seat. The Race 2.0 comes in Low, Standard and Tall. Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat, Standard matches it, and Tall is 1 inch (25 mm) taller. The width and length stay the same as the factory seat.
Can I buy a KX250F seat cover on its own?
Yes. Choose Cover Only for a KX250F seat cover or a Kawasaki KX250F seat cover for your own foam. It is the Race 2.0 wire gripper cover with the ribs and has no foam in it.
Which colors can I choose?
The sides and top come in black or green wire gripper, and the ribs come in black, green or white. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
How long does a KX450F Race 2.0 Seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee.
