What is the Seat Concepts KX450F and KX250F Comfort Seat?
The Comfort Seat is a complete seat that creates a wider, more level area to sit on, because the factory seat on a Kawasaki KX450F, KX450X, KX250F or KX250X often lacks the support you need for long days in the dirt. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which KX models and years does it fit?
It fits the Kawasaki KX450F from 2019 on, the KX450FX, KX250F and KX250FX from 2021 on, and the KX450SR from 2022 to 2026.
What is the KX 250F seat height, and what does the Comfort Seat change?
Kawasaki gives the 2025 KX250 seat height as 37.6 inches, and its KX450 is 960 mm (37.8 inches). That is the KX 250F seat height, the Kawasaki KX250F seat height and the KX450F seat height before you change the seat. The Comfort Seat comes in Standard height only, the same as the factory seat, and the regular Comfort width is 7-1/8 inches (181 mm) wide.
What is Comfort XL?
Comfort XL keeps the factory height and widens the seat to 8.5 inches (216 mm), compared with 7-1/8 inches (181 mm) for the regular Comfort width.
Which covers can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, and the top comes in black sandpaper or black semi-grip. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear.
How long does a KX450F Comfort Seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
