Your Yamaha YZ or WR is built to handle tough trails and fast tracks in any weather. This Seat Concepts Element seat keeps you comfortable and planted even when the clouds open up. It features special traction ribs at the back to stop you from sliding during hard acceleration. Whether you are racing through deep mud or riding in the rain, this seat is made to stay dry and grippy.
The interior is seam-sealed and wrapped in a water barrier to keep the foam from getting soaked. Every seat uses a special foam formula that provides much better support than the stock cushion. This complete seat comes in a standard height with a wider comfort shape to help you stay on the bike longer.

What is the Seat Concepts Element Seat for the 2014 to 2019 YZ and WR?
The Element Seat is a complete seat that keeps you comfortable and planted even when the clouds open up. Special traction ribs at the back stop you from sliding during hard acceleration, and the interior is seam-sealed and wrapped in a water barrier to keep the foam from getting soaked. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which YZ and WR models and years does it fit?
It fits the Yamaha YZ450F from 2014 to 2017, the YZ250F and YZ450FX from 2014 to 2018, the YZ250FX from 2014 to 2019, the WR250F from 2015 to 2019, and the WR450F from 2016 to 2018, so it is a YZ450F seat and a YZ250F seat for those years, including a 2015 YZ250F seat and a 2016 YZ450F seat. What is the YZ 250F seat height, and what does the Element change?
Yamaha gives the 2025 YZ250F as 38.2 inches, the 2025 YZ450F as 38.0 inches, the 2025 YZ250FX and YZ450FX as 37.6 inches and the 2025 WR250F as 37.6 inches. The 2016 WR250F and WR450F are 965 mm (38.0 inches). That is the YZ 250F seat height, the YZ450F seat height and the WR250F seat height before you change the seat. The Element Seat comes in Standard height only, which matches the factory seat, and it is 7-1/4 inches (184 mm) wide with the same length as the factory seat.
Will the Element Seat hold up in mud and rain?
It is built for it. The interior is seam-sealed and wrapped in a water barrier, so rain stays out of the foam.
Which colors and ribs can I choose?
The sides and top are black wire gripper, and the ribs come in black or white. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
How long does a YZ450F Element Seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
