What is the Seat Concepts Element Seat for the YZ450F, YZ250F and WR450F?
The Element Seat is a complete seat that keeps you riding comfortably through rain, mud and snow. Built-in traction ribs at the rear help you stay in control when things get slippery, and the water-resistant barrier and sealed seams keep moisture out of the foam. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which YZ and WR models and years does it fit?
It fits the Yamaha YZ450F from 2018 to 2022, the YZ250F, YZ450FX and WR450F from 2019 to 2023, and the YZ250FX and WR250F from 2020 to 2024, so it is a YZ450F seat, a YZ250F seat and a WR450F seat for those years, including a 2019 YZ450F seat and a 2020 YZ250F seat. What is the YZ 250F seat height, and what does the Element change?
Yamaha gives the 2025 YZ250F as 38.2 inches, the 2025 YZ450F as 38.0 inches, the 2025 YZ250FX and YZ450FX as 37.6 inches and the 2025 WR250F as 37.6 inches. The 2020 YZ450F is also 38.0 inches. That is the YZ 250F seat height, the YZ450F seat height, the WR250F seat height and the WR450F seat height before you change the seat. The Element Seat comes in Standard height only, which matches the factory seat. It is 7.5 inches (191 mm) wide at the regular Comfort width.
Will the Element Seat hold up in mud and rain?
It is built for it. The interior has a water-resistant barrier and sealed seams, so rain stays out of the foam.
What are Comfort and Comfort XL?
They are the two widths. Comfort XL keeps the factory height and widens the seat to 9-5/8 inches (244 mm), compared with 7.5 inches (191 mm) for the regular Comfort width.
Which colors and ribs can I choose?
The sides and top come in black or cobalt blue wire gripper, and the ribs come in black or cobalt blue, or you can choose no ribs. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
How long does a YZ450F Element Seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
