Product Description
Your Yamaha dirt bike is built for speed, but the stock seat can feel like a wooden plank on long trail days. This Seat Concepts Comfort seat changes that by leveling out the seating area and getting rid of that annoying forward slope. It gives you a wider platform that makes those hours in the saddle much easier on your body. Whether you are riding technical trails or fast fire roads, this seat keeps you fresh until the end of the ride.
Every seat uses a special foam that stays firm but feels way more plush than the factory part. You can choose between Standard, Low, or Tall heights to get your feet exactly where you want them. This is a complete seat, so it arrives ready to bolt right onto your bike for a perfect fit.

YZ450F, YZ250F and WR Comfort Seat FAQ (2014 to 2019)
What is the Seat Concepts Comfort Seat for the 2014 to 2019 YZ and WR?
The Comfort Seat is a complete seat for a Yamaha dirt bike whose factory seat feels like a wooden plank on long trail days. It levels out the seating area and gets rid of the forward slope, which gives you a wider platform that is easier on your body on technical trails and fast fire roads. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which YZ and WR models and years does it fit?
It fits the Yamaha YZ450F from 2014 to 2017, the YZ250F and YZ450FX from 2014 to 2018, the YZ250FX from 2014 to 2019, the WR250F from 2015 to 2019, and the WR450F from 2016 to 2018, so it is a YZ450F seat and a YZ250F seat for those years, including a 2015 YZ250F seat, a 2016 YZ250F seat, a 2015 YZ450F seat and a 2016 YZ450F seat. For the 2018 and newer bikes, see the 2018 to 2024 Comfort Seat.
What is the YZ450F seat height, and what does this seat change?
Yamaha gives the 2025 YZ250F as 38.2 inches, the 2025 YZ450F as 38.0 inches, the 2025 YZ250FX and YZ450FX as 37.6 inches and the 2025 WR250F as 37.6 inches. The 2016 WR250F and WR450F are 965 mm (38.0 inches). That is the YZ450F seat height, the YZ 250F seat height, the YZ250FX seat height and the WR250F seat height before you change the seat. The Comfort Seat comes in Low, Standard and Tall. Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat and 7 inches (178 mm) wide, Standard matches it at 7-1/4 inches (184 mm), and Tall is 1 inch (25 mm) taller and 7-1/8 inches (181 mm) wide.
Is there a low or tall option?
Yes. Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat, so it works as a YZ250F low seat for shorter riders. Tall is 1 inch (25 mm) taller, which makes it a YZ450F tall seat.
What is Comfort XL?
Comfort XL keeps the factory height and widens the seat to 9 inches (229 mm), compared with 7-1/4 inches (184 mm) for the regular Comfort width. Comfort XL is built in the Standard height only.
Which covers can I choose?
You can choose black carbon fiber sides with a black sandpaper top, or cobalt blue wire gripper. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
How long does a YZ450F Comfort Seat take to arrive?
