What is the Seat Concepts Traditional Race 2.0 Seat?
It is a complete seat with the built-in traction ribs of the Race 2.0, so you do not slide around during fast starts and heavy braking. It has a traditional square top, it is made for riders who push a YZ450FX or WR450F to the limit on the track or the trail, and it is easy to install. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. The new foam makes it a YZ450F seat foam and YZ250F seat foam upgrade in one complete seat.
Which YZ and WR models and years does it fit?
It fits the Yamaha YZ450F from 2023, the YZ250F, YZ450FX and WR450F from 2024, and the WR250F and YZ250FX from 2025, so it is a YZ450F seat and a YZ250F seat for those years.
What is the YZ450FX seat height, and what does this seat change?
Yamaha gives the 2025 YZ250F as 38.2 inches, the 2025 YZ450F as 38.0 inches, the 2025 YZ250FX and YZ450FX as 37.6 inches, the 2025 WR250F as 37.6 inches and the 2027 WR450F as 37.6 inches. That is the YZ450FX seat height, the YZ 250F seat height, the YZ450F seat height and the WR450F seat height before you change the seat. The Traditional Race 2.0 comes in Standard height only, which matches the factory seat, and the width and length stay the same as the factory seat.
How is it different from the other Race 2.0 seat?
The Race 2.0 Seat comes in Low, Standard and Tall. The Traditional Race 2.0 has a traditional square top and comes in Standard height only.
Which colors and ribs can I choose?
The sides and top come in black or cobalt blue wire gripper, and the ribs come in black, cobalt blue or white. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
How long does a Traditional Race 2.0 Seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee.
