It was designed with help from pro racing teams to give you better control on the track or trail. If you want to ride faster and feel more secure, this is the right setup for your bike.
The secret is the high-quality foam that offers much better support and comfort than the factory seat. You can pick between Standard, Low, or Tall heights to get your riding position exactly where you want it. Each seat is made from tough materials that can handle the abuse of a long race season.

What is the Seat Concepts Race 2.0 Seat for the YZ450F, YZ250F and WR450F?
The Race 2.0 is a complete seat for the new Yamaha YZ or WR, built to handle all that power. Special traction ribs keep you firmly in place during fast starts and hard braking, and it was designed with help from pro racing teams to give you better control on the track or trail. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which YZ and WR models and years does it fit?
It fits the Yamaha YZ450F from 2023, the YZ250F, YZ450FX and WR450F from 2024, and the WR250F and YZ250FX from 2025. It is the same fit as the Comfort, Element and Traditional Race 2.0 seats for these bikes.
What is the YZ 250F seat height, and what does the Race 2.0 change?
Yamaha gives the 2025 YZ250F as 38.2 inches, the 2025 YZ450F as 38.0 inches, the 2025 YZ250FX and YZ450FX as 37.6 inches, the 2025 WR250F as 37.6 inches and the 2027 WR450F as 37.6 inches. That is the YZ 250F seat height, the YZ450F seat height, the YZ250FX seat height, the WR250F seat height and the WR450F seat height before you change the seat. The Race 2.0 comes in Low, Standard and Tall. Low is 9/16 inch (14 mm) lower than the factory seat, Standard matches it, and Tall is 1/2 inch (12.5 mm) taller. The width and length stay the same as the factory seat.
Is there a low or tall option for the YZ250F, YZ250FX or WR?
Yes. Low is 9/16 inch (14 mm) lower than the factory seat, so it works as a YZ250F low seat, a YZ250FX low seat, a WR250F low seat and a WR450F low seat. Tall is 1/2 inch (12.5 mm) taller, which makes it a YZ450F tall seat and a YZ250F tall seat.
Can I buy a YZ250F seat cover or a YZ450F seat cover on its own?
Yes. Choose Cover Only for a YZ250F seat cover or a YZ450F seat cover for your own foam. It is the Race 2.0 wire gripper cover with the traction ribs and has no foam in it.
Which colors can I choose?
The sides and top come in black, blood red or cobalt blue wire gripper, and the ribs come in black, blood red, cobalt blue or white. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
Is there a Comfort, Element or Traditional version?
Yes. The Comfort Seat is the wider, rounded shape, the Element Seat adds a sealed, water barrier foam wrap, and the Traditional Race 2.0 Seat has a traditional square top.
How long does a YZ450F Race 2.0 Seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
