The Seat Concepts Comfort seat fixes this by making the seating area wider and more level. This design helps stop you from sliding forward into the gas tank while you ride. It is the best choice for trail riders who want to stay comfortable from morning until sunset.
This kit features a special foam that is much more supportive than the factory cushion. You can choose between Standard, Low, or Tall heights to get the perfect reach to the ground. The cover is made from tough materials that look great and can handle the mud and dirt of off-road riding.

What is the Seat Concepts Yamaha WR250F and WR450F Comfort Seat Cover?
It is a Foam & Cover Kit for the seat you already have, not a complete seat. The factory seat on a Yamaha WR250F or WR450F can be very hard on your body, and the kit makes the seating area wider and more level. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. It is a WR450F comfort seat kit and a WR450F seat upgrade for long days in the woods.
Which years does it fit?
It fits the Yamaha WR250F from 2007 to 2014 and the WR450F from 2007 to 2011, so it rebuilds a WR250F seat and a WR450F seat for those years. For the WR450F from 2012 to 2015, see the 2012 to 2015 WR450F kit.
What is the WR250F seat height, and what does the kit change?
Yamaha gives the 2025 WR250F seat height as 37.6 inches. The kit changes the WR250F seat height, the Yamaha WR250F seat height and the WR450F seat height by the height you choose. Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat and 8-1/4 inches (210 mm) wide, Standard matches it at 8-5/8 inches (219 mm), and Tall is 1 inch (25 mm) taller and 7-3/8 inches (187 mm) wide.
Is there a WR250F low seat?
Yes. Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat, so it works as a WR250F low seat and a WR450F low seat for shorter riders.
Can I buy a WR250F seat cover on its own?
No. The WR250F seat cover and the WR450F seat cover come as a Foam & Cover Kit, so you get new foam and a new cover together for your existing seat base. There is no cover-only option.
Which covers can I choose?
You can choose black carbon fiber or cobalt blue wire sides with a black sandpaper top. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
How long does a WR250F seat kit take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee.
