It features a wider platform that levels out the seating area, making those long trail days much easier on your body. You can finally focus on the dirt ahead instead of how much your backside hurts.
This kit uses a special foam that feels softer than the factory seat but still gives you great support. The cover is made from high-quality fabrics that look great on your Yamaha and hold up to tough riding. This is a Foam & Cover kit, so you will install it right onto your own seat pan for a perfect fit.

What is the Seat Concepts Yamaha WR250F and WR450F Comfort Seat Cover for 2003 to 2004?
It is a Foam & Cover Kit for the seat you already have, not a complete seat. It gives your 2003 to 2004 Yamaha WR250F or WR450F a break from the narrow factory seat, stops you from sliding forward into the tank, and gives you a wider platform. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which years does it fit?
It fits the Yamaha WR250F and WR450F from 2003 to 2004, so it rebuilds a WR250F seat and a WR450F seat for those two years. For 2005 to 2006, see the 2005 to 2006 kit.
What is the WR250F seat height, and what does the kit change?
The kit comes in Standard height only, the same as the factory seat, so it does not change your WR250F seat height or your WR450F seat height, and it is 8.5 inches (216 mm) wide with the same length as the factory seat. For reference, Yamaha gives the 2025 WR250F seat height as 37.6 inches.
Can I buy a WR250F seat cover on its own?
No. The WR250F seat cover and the WR450F seat cover come as a Foam & Cover Kit, so you get new foam and a new cover together for your existing seat base. There is no cover-only option.
Which covers can I choose?
You can choose black carbon fiber or cobalt blue wire sides with a black sandpaper top. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
How long does a WR250F seat kit take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
