Your Yamaha WR250F or 450F is built for the woods, but the stock seat can be tough on your body after a few hours. The Seat Concepts Comfort seat changes the shape of the saddle to give you a wider, more stable place to sit. It levels out the platform so you do not keep sliding forward toward the gas tank. This is the best way to stay in the saddle longer during your next trail adventure.
This kit uses a special foam that is much more supportive than the factory seat. You get a new foam piece and a durable cover that are made to fit your bike perfectly. It keeps your bike at the standard height while adding the extra width you need for a better ride.

What is the Seat Concepts Yamaha WR250F and WR450F Comfort Seat Cover for 2005 to 2006?
It is a Foam & Cover Kit for the seat you already have, not a complete seat. The factory seat on a Yamaha WR250F or WR450F can be tough on your body after a few hours, and the kit changes the shape of the saddle to give you a wider, more stable place to sit. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which years does it fit?
It fits the Yamaha WR250F and WR450F from 2005 to 2006, so it rebuilds a WR250F seat and a WR450F seat for those two years. For 2003 to 2004, see the 2003 to 2004 kit.
What is the WR250F seat height, and what does the kit change?
The kit comes in Standard height only, the same as the factory seat, so it does not change your WR250F seat height or your WR450F seat height, and it is 8.5 inches (216 mm) wide with the same length as the factory seat. For reference, Yamaha gives the 2025 WR250F seat height as 37.6 inches.
Can I buy a WR250F seat cover on its own?
No. The WR250F seat cover and the WR450F seat cover come as a Foam & Cover Kit, so you get new foam and a new cover together for your existing seat base. There is no cover-only option.
Which covers can I choose?
You can choose black carbon fiber or cobalt blue wire sides with a black sandpaper top. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
How long does a WR250F seat kit take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
