What is the Seat Concepts KX450F Comfort Seat Cover?
It is a Foam & Cover Kit for the seat you already have, not a complete seat. The factory seat on the Kawasaki KX450F can get uncomfortable on long days on the trail, and the kit levels out the seating area so you stay in the right spot. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which years does it fit?
It fits the Kawasaki KX450F from 2016 to 2018, so it rebuilds a 2016 KX450F seat.
What is the KX450F seat height, and what does the kit change?
The kit comes in Standard height only, the same as the factory seat, so it does not change your KX450F seat height, and it is 7 inches (178 mm) wide with the same length as the factory seat. For reference, Kawasaki gives the KX450 as 960 mm (37.8 inches).
Which covers and thread colors can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, the top is black sandpaper, and the thread is black or green. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear.
Is this a complete seat?
No. It is a Foam & Cover Kit, so you get new foam and a new cover together for your existing seat base. There is no cover-only option.
How long does a KX450F seat kit take to arrive?
