The Seat Concepts Comfort seat fixes this by leveling out the sitting area so you do not slide forward into the tank. It uses a wider shape and smooth edges to keep your legs from getting sore while you explore the woods.
This foam and cover kit uses a special foam formula that feels much better than the factory parts. The cover is made from tough materials that look great and can handle years of dirt and mud. It is designed to fit your 2008 model perfectly while keeping the standard seat height you are used to.

What is the Seat Concepts KLX140 Comfort Seat Cover?
The KLX140 Comfort Seat Cover is a Foam & Cover Kit that levels out the sitting area so you do not slide forward into the tank. It is not a complete seat. It fits the Kawasaki KLX140 and the KLX140R F, L and G from 2008 to 2026.
What is the KLX140 seat height with this kit?
The kit keeps the factory height. It comes in Standard height only, so it does not change the Kawasaki KLX140 seat height, the KLX 140 seat height, the KLX140RF seat height, the KLX 140RF seat height or the KLX 140R F seat height. It is 8.5 inches (216 mm) wide with the same length as the factory seat.
Is there a KLX140 tall seat?
Not from us in this kit. We do not offer a KLX 140 tall seat or a KLX140 tall seat here, because this kit comes in Standard height only.
Can I buy a KLX 140 seat cover on its own?
No. The kit gives you new foam and a new cover together, so there is no separate KLX 140 seat cover.
Which covers can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. The top is black sandpaper or black semi-grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear.
How long does a KLX140 seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts kit is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each kit is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every kit is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
