Product Description
Your Kawasaki KLX300R is built for fun on the trails, but the stock seat can get uncomfortable after a few hours. The Seat Concepts Comfort seat fixes this by making the seating area wider and more level. This design keeps you from sliding toward the gas tank and helps you stay relaxed while you ride. It makes every trail ride much more enjoyable.
This foam and cover kit features a special foam blend that supports your weight better than the original seat. You can pick the Standard height or the Low option to help your feet touch the dirt more easily. The cover is made from tough materials that match your bike’s look and handle the elements.

KLX300R Comfort Seat Cover FAQ (2023 to 2026)
What is the Seat Concepts KLX300R Comfort Seat Cover?
It is a Foam & Cover Kit for the seat you already have, not a complete seat. New foam and a new cover make the seating area wider and more level, so you stop sliding toward the gas tank and stay relaxed on the trail. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. It is the Seat Concepts KLX300R upgrade for your KLX300R seat.
Which KLX300R years does it fit?
This KLX300R seat foam and cover kit fits the Kawasaki KLX300R from 2023 to 2026, so it works as a 2024 KLX 300 seat rebuild for the R too. For the 2020 to 2022 bike, see the 2020 to 2022 KLX300R Seat Cover.
What is the KLX 300R seat height, and what does this kit change?
Kawasaki gives the KLX300R seat height as 35.4 inches for 2025 and 2026. The KLX 300R seat height with this kit depends on the height you choose: Standard matches the factory seat and is 8 inches wide at its widest point, in the rear seating area, and Low sits lower than the factory seat.
Is this a KLX300R seat upgrade, and do I get a complete seat?
It is a KLX 300 seat upgrade and a KLX300 seat upgrade for the R model, sold as a Foam & Cover Kit with new foam and a new cover together. It is not a complete seat. It goes onto your existing seat pan.
Which covers can I choose?
You can choose black carbon fiber sides with a black sandpaper or black semi-grip top, or wire gripper sides and top in black and green. The sides are black carbon fiber, a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
