What is the Seat Concepts KLX300R Comfort Seat Cover for 2020 to 2022?
The Kawasaki KLX300R is a great trail bike, but the factory seat can feel thin on long rides. This is a Foam & Cover Kit, not a complete seat: it reshapes your KLX300R seat into a wider, flatter platform, so you do not feel like you are sliding toward the gas tank all day. It fits the 2020 to 2022 bike.
What is the KLX300R seat height, and what does this kit change?
Kawasaki gives the current KLX300R seat height as 35.4 inches. For the 2020 KLX300R seat height and the 2021 and 2022 bikes, the kit changes it like this: Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat and 8.6 inches (218 mm) wide, and Standard matches the factory seat and is 8 inches wide at its widest point, in the rear seating area. The length is the same as the factory seat. If you search the KLX 300R seat height, Low is the option that changes it.
Is there a tall option?
No. This kit comes in Low and Standard heights only.
Which covers can I choose?
You can choose black carbon fiber sides with a black sandpaper or black semi-grip top, or wire gripper sides and top in black and green. The sides are black carbon fiber, a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
