Product Description
Your Kawasaki KLX230 is built for fun on the dirt, but the stock seat often feels too narrow for long days. This Seat Concepts Comfort seat changes the shape to give you a wider, flatter place to sit. It stops you from sliding forward into the tank and helps you stay relaxed on the trail. It is the perfect choice for riders who want to spend more time exploring and less time standing up to rest.
The kit comes with a premium foam that provides better support than the factory cushion. You can pick the Standard height or go with the Low option if you want a shorter reach to the dirt. Each cover is made from tough materials that match your bike’s look and handle years of hard riding.

KLX230 Comfort Seat Cover FAQ (2020 to 2023)
What is the Seat Concepts KLX230 Comfort Seat Cover?
The Comfort Seat Cover is a Foam & Cover Kit that changes the shape to give you a wider, flatter place to sit. It is not a complete seat. It stops you from sliding forward into the tank and helps you stay relaxed on the trail, and the foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which KLX230 models and years does it fit?
It fits the Kawasaki KLX230, KLX230 S, KLX230R, KLX230R S and the ABS versions from 2020 to 2023. For 2024 and newer bikes, see the 2024 to 2026 KLX230 seat.
What is the KLX230 seat height, and what does this kit change?
The kit changes the KLX 230S seat height, the KLX230RS seat height, the KLX230SM seat height and the Kawasaki KLX230R seat height the same way: Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat and 9.5 inches (241 mm) wide, and Standard matches the factory seat and is 9 inches (229 mm) wide.
Is there a KLX 230 low seat?
Yes. For a KLX 230 low seat, or a KLX 230 lower seat, choose Low. It is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat.
Is this a KLX 230 seat upgrade?
Yes. If you are shopping for Seat Concepts KLX 230 seats, this is the KLX 230 seat upgrade, and it comes as a Foam & Cover Kit, so there is no separate KLX 230 seat cover.
Which covers can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. The top is black sandpaper or black semi-grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear.
How long does a KLX230 seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts kit is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each kit is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every kit is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
What does the KLX230 Comfort Seat Cover cost?
The kit is $279.60 at every height and cover.
