What is the Seat Concepts KLX250 and KLX300 Comfort Seat Cover?
The factory seat on the KLX250 or KLX300 often feels too narrow for long rides. This Foam & Cover Kit changes the shape of your seat to give you a wider, more stable platform and levels out the seating area, so you do not keep sliding toward the gas tank. It is not a complete seat. It is the Seat Concepts answer for a KLX 250 comfort seat feel on the bike you already own.
Which years does it fit?
It fits the Kawasaki KLX250 from 1994 to 2008 and the Kawasaki KLX300 from 1997 to 2008. For newer bikes, see the KLX300 and KLX250S seat.
Does it change the seat height?
No. It comes in Standard height only, which matches the factory seat, and it is 10 inches (254 mm) wide with the same length as the factory seat.
Is this a KLX250 seat cover, and can I buy a cover alone?
Yes, it works as a KLX250 seat cover and a KLX 250 seat cover, and it is also a KLX250 seat upgrade. It is sold as a Foam & Cover Kit, so you get new foam and a new cover together. It is not a complete seat, and there is no cover-only option.
What does the cover look like?
The sides are black carbon fiber, a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. The top is black sandpaper. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear.
How long does a KLX250 seat cover kit take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee.
