The Kawasaki KLX250S and KLX300 are great for both dirt trails and city streets. However, the stock seat can feel pretty thin after an hour of riding. This Seat Concepts Comfort seat changes that by leveling out the platform and getting rid of that annoying forward slide. It makes your bike much better for long weekend adventures or daily trips to work.
Every seat uses special foam that stays firm but feels much softer than the factory version. You can choose between Standard or Low heights to make sure your feet touch the ground comfortably. This complete seat comes ready to bolt on with a durable cover that matches your Kawasaki's style.

What is the Seat Concepts KLX300 Comfort Seat?
The KLX300 Comfort Seat is a complete seat that changes the shape of the factory seat by leveling it out and removing the forward slide. It makes a KLX 300 seat, a KLX300 seat or a KLX250S seat much better on dirt trails and city streets alike, and the foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which models does it fit?
It fits the Kawasaki KLX250S and KLX250SF from 2009 to 2021, and the KLX300 (non R) and KLX300SM from 2021 to 2026. A Kawasaki KLX250S seat, a KLX 250 seat, a Kawasaki KLX250 seat, a KLX250SF seat and a KLX300SM seat are all the same Comfort Seat. For the KLX300R, see the KLX300R seat cover.
What is the KLX 300 seat height, and what does this seat change?
Kawasaki gives the 2025 KLX300 seat height as 35.2 inches, and the KLX300SM as 33.9 inches. That is the KLX 300 seat height, the KLX300 seat height, the Kawasaki KLX 300 seat height and the Kawasaki KLX300 seat height before you change the seat. The same goes for the KLX 300SM seat height, the Kawasaki KLX300SM seat height and the Kawasaki KLX 300SM seat height. With this seat, Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat and 9-1/4 inches (235 mm) wide, and Standard matches the factory seat and is 9 inches (229 mm) wide.
What is the KLX250S seat height, and is there a lower seat?
For the KLX 250 seat height and the KLX250S seat height, and for a Kawasaki KLX250S seat height question, the seat does this: Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat, so for a KLX 250 lower seat, choose Low. Standard matches the factory seat.
Can I buy a KLX 300 seat cover on its own?
No. This is a complete seat, so we do not sell a KLX 300 seat cover alone. The foam and cover are built together.
Which cover top can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear. The top is also available in black carbon fiber. Every height comes with all three tops.
How long does a KLX300 seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee.
