What is the Seat Concepts KTM 690 Enduro R Comfort Seat?
The Comfort Seat is a complete seat that changes the shape of the factory seat to stop that annoying forward slide. It gives you a wider, level spot to sit so you can ride further without getting sore, and it turns the bike into a long-distance machine. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. It is a KTM 690 Enduro R comfort seat, a KTM 690 Enduro comfort seat, a KTM 690 comfort seat and a KTM 690 SMC R comfort seat in one.
Which KTM 690 models and years does it fit?
It fits the KTM 690 Enduro and 690 SMC-R built for non-North American markets from 2021 to 2025, and the 690 Enduro and SMC-R worldwide in 2026, so it is a KTM 690 Enduro R seat, a KTM 690 Enduro seat, a KTM 690 seat and a KTM 690 SMC R seat for those bikes. What is the KTM 690 Enduro R seat height, and what does this seat change?
KTM gives the 2023 and 2024 690 Enduro R seat height as 929 mm (36.6 inches) and the 2026 690 Enduro R as 935 mm (36.8 inches). That is the KTM 690 Enduro R seat height, the KTM 690 Enduro seat height and the KTM 690 seat height before you change the seat, and the 2021 KTM 690 Enduro R seat height and the 2022 KTM 690 Enduro R seat height start there too. The Comfort Seat comes in Low, Standard and Tall. Low is 9/16 inch (15 mm) lower than the factory seat and 10-5/8 inches (270 mm) wide, Standard matches it at 10-1/8 inches (257 mm), and Tall is 1 inch (25 mm) taller and 9-7/8 inches (251 mm) wide.
Is there a KTM 690 Enduro R low seat?
Yes. Low is 9/16 inch (15 mm) lower than the factory seat, so it works as a KTM 690 Enduro R low seat and a KTM 690 Enduro low seat, and it is the KTM 690 SMC R seat height change for shorter riders too.
What is Comfort XL?
Comfort XL keeps the factory height and widens the seat to 12.5 inches (318 mm), compared with 10-1/8 inches (257 mm) for the regular Comfort width. Comfort XL is built in the Standard height only.

Which covers can I choose?
You can choose black carbon fiber or orange semi-grip sides with a black sandpaper, black semi-grip, black diamante or orange semi-grip top. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear. Black diamante is a suede-like synthetic made to match the factory synthetic suede on production street and adventure bikes, and it is flexible with moderate grip.
