The Seat Concepts Comfort seat fixes this by leveling out the seating area and making it wider at the back. This design stops you from sliding forward and keeps your weight spread out evenly. It makes your dual-sport or supermoto much better for all-day adventures.
This seat uses a high-quality foam that is soft yet firm enough to keep you from sinking through to the base. You can choose between Standard and Tall heights to match your reach to the ground. These seats also come in Comfort or Comfort XL widths to give you the exact amount of support you need.

This complete seat levels out the seating area and makes it wider at the back, which stops you from sliding forward and spreads your weight evenly. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. It is a KTM 690 SMC comfort seat and a KTM 690 Enduro R comfort seat for all-day adventures.

What is the KTM 690 SMC R seat height, and what does this seat change?
The comfort seat comes in Standard and Tall. Standard is the same as the 2008 to 2011 factory seat, which is 10 mm lower than the 2012 to 2018 seat, and 9 inches (229 mm) wide. Tall is 1-3/8 inches (35 mm) taller than the factory seat on the 2008 to 2011 SMC models, which is the change to the KTM 690 SMC R seat height, and 1 inch (25 mm) taller on the 2012 to 2018 Enduro R. It is also 9 inches wide. That is the KTM 690 Enduro R seat height change for this seat.
What is Comfort XL?
Comfort XL is 10 mm taller than the 2008 to 2011 factory seat, the same as the 2012 to 2018 factory seat, and it widens the seat to 11 inches (279 mm), compared with 9 inches (229 mm) for the regular Comfort width. Comfort XL is built in the Standard height only.
Is there a low option?
No. This seat comes in Standard and Tall only.
Which covers and thread colors can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, the top comes in black sandpaper, black semi-grip or black diamante, and the thread is black or orange. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear. Black diamante is a suede-like synthetic made to match the factory synthetic suede on production street and adventure bikes, and it is flexible with moderate grip.
