What is the Seat Concepts KX250F and KX450F Comfort Seat Cover?
It is a Foam & Cover Kit for the seat you already have, not a complete seat. The kit reshapes the foam to stop you from sliding toward the tank and gives you a wider seating area that supports you on long days in the dirt. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which years does it fit?
It fits the Kawasaki KX250F from 2013 to 2016 and the KX450F from 2012 to 2015, so it rebuilds a 2012 KX250F seat, a 2013 KX250F seat, a 2014 KX250F seat and a 2013 KX450F seat.
What is the KX 250F seat height, and what does the kit change?
The kit comes in Standard height only, the same as the factory seat, so it does not change your KX 250F seat height or your KX450F seat height, and it is 7 inches (178 mm) wide with the same length as the factory seat. For reference, Kawasaki gives the 2025 KX250 seat height as 37.6 inches, and its KX450 is 960 mm (37.8 inches).
Can I buy a KX250F seat cover on its own?
No. The KX250F seat cover and the Kawasaki KX250F seat cover come as a Foam & Cover Kit, so you get new foam and a new cover together for your existing seat base. There is no cover-only option.
Which covers and thread colors can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, the top is black sandpaper, and the thread is black or green. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear.
How long does a KX250F seat kit take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
