Product Description
Your Suzuki DR650 is built for long miles, but the narrow stock seat often makes those miles painful. The Seat Concepts Comfort seat fixes this by widening the seating area and leveling out the slope. This design keeps you from sliding forward and helps you stay balanced on adventure rides. It makes your bike much more enjoyable for all-day trips on or off the pavement.
The secret is the high-quality foam that provides better support without feeling stiff. This complete seat comes in Standard, Low, and Tall heights to match your leg length perfectly. It uses tough cover materials that look great and stand up to years of hard use.

DR650 Comfort Seat FAQ
What is the Seat Concepts DR650 Comfort Seat?
The Comfort Seat is a complete seat for the Suzuki DR650. It widens the seating area and levels out the slope, so you stop sliding forward and stay balanced on adventure rides. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam, and it supports you without feeling stiff. Standard, Low and Tall heights let you match the DR650 comfort seat to your leg length.
Which years and models does this DR650 seat fit?
This Suzuki DR650 seat fits the DR650 from 1996 to 2026, so a DR650SE or DR650S owner is covered. If you are shopping for a DR650SE seat or a DR 650 seat for a late model, the same seat fits it, and you choose a height and a cover top.
What is the DR650 seat height, and what does this seat change?
Suzuki gives the DR650S seat height as 34.8 inches (885 mm), or 33.2 inches (845 mm) with its optional lowering kit. That is the factory DR650 seat height, and it is the same number for a DR650SE seat height search or a DR 650 seat height search. The Suzuki DR 650 seat height changes with this seat: Low is 1-1/8 inches (28 mm) lower than the factory seat, Standard matches it, and Tall is 1-3/4 inches (44 mm) higher.
Is there a DR650 low seat?
Yes. For a DR650 low seat, choose Low. It sits 1-1/8 inches (28 mm) lower than the factory seat and is 9-3/4 inches (248 mm) wide. That is a Suzuki DR650 low seat that changes only the seat, whereas Suzuki's optional lowering kit is a separate part that takes the bike to 33.2 inches.
Is there a DR650 tall seat?
Yes. For a DR650 tall seat, choose Tall. It sits 1-3/4 inches (44 mm) higher than the factory seat and is 10 inches (254 mm) wide, the same width as Standard.
Is this a DR650 seat upgrade, and is it a gel seat?
It is a DR650 seat upgrade that replaces the factory seat with a complete seat, and it is not a DR650 gel seat. It uses Seat Concepts' own foam. As a DR650 aftermarket seat you choose the height and the cover top, which makes it a DR650 custom seat in the way that counts: it is built to your options.
Can I buy just a DR650 seat cover?
No. This is a complete seat, so we do not sell a DR650 seat cover on its own. The foam and the cover come built together on the seat pan.
What is the best DR650 seat for long rides, the Comfort Seat or the Commuter Seat?
The best seat for DR650 riders depends on how you ride. This Comfort Seat is 10 inches (254 mm) wide at Standard and Tall and comes in three heights, which suits adventure riding on and off the pavement. If you want the widest platform for daily commutes, look at the Commuter Seat, which is 13 inches (330 mm) wide in Standard height only.
Which cover top should I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear. The top is also available in black carbon fiber. Every height comes with all three tops.
How long does a DR650 seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
What does the DR650 Comfort Seat cost?
The Comfort Seat is $429.60 at every height and cover top.
