The Seat Concepts Comfort seat changes that by leveling out the seating area so you do not slide forward into the tank. It uses a wider shape that gives your backside more support on long rides. This makes your trail days or enduro trips much more enjoyable.
This kit comes with high-quality foam and a durable cover designed to fit your factory seat pan perfectly. The foam is much better than the original, staying soft enough for comfort but firm enough to last. You get the standard height and comfort width to keep your bike feeling natural but way more supportive.

What is the Seat Concepts KTM EXC, MXC and SX Comfort Seat Cover for 1998 to 2003?
It is a Foam & Cover Kit for the seat you already have, not a complete seat. The factory seat on a KTM EXC, MXC or SX can be hard on your body, and the kit levels out the seating area so you do not slide forward into the tank. A wider shape gives your backside more support on long rides. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which KTM models and years does it fit?
It fits the KTM EXC 125, 200, 250, 300, 380, 400 and 520 and the EGS 125, 200, 250, 300 and 380 from 1998 to 2002, the MXC 125, 200, 250, 300, 380, 400, 450, 520 and 525 from 1998 to 2003, and the SX 125, 200, 250, 300, 380, 400 and 520 from 1998 to 2000.
What is the KTM EXC seat height, and what does the kit change?
The kit comes in Standard height only, the same as the factory seat, so it does not change your KTM EXC seat height, and it is 8.5 inches (216 mm) wide with the same length as the factory seat. For reference, KTM gives the 2025 125 SX seat height as 958 mm (37.7 inches). That is the KTM SX 125 seat height and the KTM 125 SX seat height the SX models in this kit start from.
Which covers and thread colors can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, the top is black sandpaper, and the thread is black or orange. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear.
How long does a KTM seat kit take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee.
