Honda Transalp Comfort Seat Cover FAQ
What is the Seat Concepts Honda Transalp Comfort Seat Cover?
The Honda Transalp Comfort Seat Cover is a Foam & Cover Kit for the Honda XL750 Transalp. It is not a complete seat. It levels the platform and removes the forward slope, which gives you a wider, more stable place to sit for highway miles and dirt roads alike. The foam stays soft yet supportive over time. It is a Honda Transalp seat kit, and a Honda Transalp XL750 comfort seat kit, in two heights.
Which years and models does it fit?
This Transalp seat fits the Honda XL750 Transalp from 2023 to 2026. It is the kit for the Honda Transalp 750 and the XL750 Transalp, and not for the older Transalp 600 or 650.
What is the Honda Transalp seat height, and what does this kit change?
Honda gives the Transalp seat height as 33.7 inches, with an accessory low seat at 32.6 inches. This kit does not lower it: Standard height matches the factory seat, and Tall is 1-1/2 inches (38 mm) higher. That is the Honda Transalp 750 seat height and the Transalp seat height with this kit, and the XL750 Transalp seat height and Honda Transalp XL750 seat height too.
How wide is the kit?
The kit is 13 inches (330 mm) wide at both heights, with the same length as the factory seat.
Which covers can I choose?
The sides come in black carbon fiber or black semi-grip, and the top comes in black sandpaper, black diamante or black semi-grip. The sides are black carbon fiber, a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear. Black diamante is a suede-like synthetic made to match the factory synthetic suede on production street and adventure bikes, and it is flexible with moderate grip.
