The Seat Concepts Comfort seat fixes this by leveling out the platform for a more natural feel. It uses a wider shape and rounded edges to keep you happy during long adventure rides or daily commutes. This design helps you stay in the saddle longer without the usual aches and pains.
This kit comes with premium foam that is much more supportive than the factory cushion. You can choose the wider Comfort width for maximum surface area or the Rally width for a slimmer profile. What is the Seat Concepts CB500X and NX500 Comfort Seat Cover?
The Comfort Seat Cover is a Foam & Cover Kit for the Honda CB500X and its successor, the NX500. It is not a complete seat. It is a CB500X comfort seat kit and a CB500X aftermarket seat kit that levels out the platform, with new foam and a new cover together. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. It is the Seat Concepts CB500X seat kit, and the NX500 seat kit for the same bike family.
Which models and years does it fit?
It fits the Honda CB500X from 2013 to 2023 and the NX500 that replaced it, up to 2026, so a Honda NX500 seat and a CB500X seat from us are the same kit.
What is the NX500 seat height, and what does this kit change?
Honda gives the NX500 seat height and the CB500X seat height as 32.8 inches, which answers the Honda NX500 seat height, NX 500 seat height, Honda NX 500 seat height, CB500X seat height, CB 500X seat height and Honda CB500X seat height searches. The Comfort width in Standard height matches the factory seat and is 12.5 inches (318 mm) wide. The Rally width comes in Tall, 1-3/4 inches (44.5 mm) higher than the factory seat, and 11.5 inches (292 mm) wide.
Is there a CB500X low seat?
Not in this kit. We do not offer a CB500X low seat; the Comfort width keeps the factory height and the Rally width is taller. If you want a CB500X custom seat, you choose the width and the cover top.
Which covers can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. The top is black sandpaper or black carbon fiber. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear.
How long does a CB500X seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts kit is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each kit is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every kit is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
