What is the Seat Concepts CRF450R and CRF250R Comfort Seat?
The Comfort Seat is a complete seat for the 2021 to 2027 Honda CRF450R and the 2022 to 2027 CRF250R. It levels the seating area and rounds the edges, so you stop sliding forward and your legs stay free. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. It is a CRF450R comfort seat and a CRF450R complete seat that bolts onto your bike.
Which CRF models and years does it fit?
It fits the Honda CRF450R and CRF450RWE from 2021 to 2027, the CRF450RX from 2021 to 2027, the CRF450R 50th Anniversary in 2023, the CRF450R-S from 2023 to 2025, and the CRF250R and CRF250RX from 2022 to 2027, so it is a CRF450R seat and a CRF250R seat for those years. What is the CRF 250R seat height, and what does this seat change?
Honda gives the 2026 CRF250R as 37.6 inches, the 2026 CRF250RX as 37.7 inches and the 2026 CRF450R as 37.8 inches. That is the CRF 250R seat height, the Honda CRF 250R seat height, the CRF250RX seat height, the CRF 450R seat height and the Honda CRF450R seat height before you change the seat. The Comfort Seat comes in Low, Standard and Tall. Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat, Standard matches it, and Tall is 3/4 inch (19 mm) taller.
Is there a CRF450R lower seat or a CRF250R low seat?
Yes. Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat, so it works as a CRF450R lower seat and a CRF250R lower seat, and a Honda CRF250R low seat for shorter riders. The Low seat is 8.75 inches (222 mm) wide. Standard keeps the factory height and is 7.5 inches (190 mm) wide, and Tall is 3/4 inch (19 mm) taller and 7.5 inches wide.
What is the difference between Comfort and Comfort XL?
Comfort XL keeps the factory height and widens the seat to 8.75 inches (222 mm), compared with 7.5 inches (190 mm) for the regular Comfort width. Comfort XL is built in the Standard height only.
Which covers can I choose?
You can choose black carbon fiber or red semi-grip sides with a black sandpaper or black semi-grip top, or red wire gripper on the sides and top. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
Is there an Element or Race 2.0 version?
Yes. The Element Seat adds traction ribs and a sealed, water barrier foam wrap, and the Race 2.0 Seat is the ribbed race seat. Both fit the same 2021 to 2027 CRF450R and CRF250R.
