What is the Seat Concepts Comfort Seat for the CRF450R, CRF250R and CRF450L?
The Comfort Seat is a complete seat that levels out the seating area and removes the forward slope, which gives you a wider base to ride all day without getting sore. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. It is a CRF450L comfort seat for long dual-sport rides and a CRF450X comfort seat for the trail, as well as a CRF450R seat and a CRF250R seat.
Which CRF models and years does it fit?
It fits the Honda CRF450R and CRF450RX from 2017 to 2020, the CRF250R from 2018 to 2021, the CRF250RX from 2019 to 2021, the CRF450X from 2019 to 2027, the CRF450L and CRF450RWE from 2019 to 2020, the CRF450RL from 2021 to 2026, and the CRF450R-S in 2022. What is the CRF 250R seat height, and what does this seat change?
Honda gives the 2021 CRF250R seat height as 37.8 inches and the 2020 CRF450R seat height as 37.8 inches. That is the CRF 250R seat height, the Honda CRF 250R seat height and the CRF 450R seat height before you change the seat. The Comfort Seat comes in Low, Standard and Tall. Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat and 7-3/4 inches (197 mm) wide, Standard matches it at 7-5/8 inches (194 mm), and Tall is 1 inch (25 mm) taller and 7.5 inches (190 mm) wide.
What are the CRF450RL, CRF450L and CRF450X seat heights?
Honda gives the 2025 CRF450RL as 37.2 inches, the 2020 CRF450L as 37.1 inches and the 2026 CRF450X as 37.9 inches. That is the CRF450RL seat height, the Honda CRF450RL seat height, the CRF 450L seat height and the CRF450X seat height before you change the seat. The Low seat sits 1 inch (25 mm) lower than any of them.
Is this a CRF450RL seat and a CRF450L seat?
Yes. It is a CRF450RL seat for the 2021 to 2026 bike and a CRF450L seat for the 2019 to 2020 bike, and the CRF450X and CRF450RWE take it too.
What is Comfort XL?
Comfort XL keeps the factory height and widens the seat to 9-1/8 inches (232 mm), compared with 7-5/8 inches (194 mm) for the regular Comfort width. Comfort XL is built in the Standard height only.
Which covers can I choose?
You can choose black carbon fiber or red semi-grip sides with a black sandpaper or black semi-grip top, or red or cobalt blue wire gripper on the sides and top. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
How long does a CRF450R Comfort Seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee.
