What is the Seat Concepts Element Seat for the CRF450R, CRF250R and CRF450L?
The Element Seat is a complete seat for riders who head out in mud, rain and any weather. Traction ribs at the back keep you in place during hard rides, and the interior is seam-sealed and wrapped in a water barrier to keep the foam dry and light. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which CRF models and years does it fit?
It fits the Honda CRF450R and CRF450RX from 2017 to 2020, the CRF250R from 2018 to 2021, the CRF250RX from 2019 to 2021, the CRF450X from 2019 to 2027, the CRF450L and CRF450RWE from 2019 to 2020, the CRF450RL from 2021 to 2026, and the CRF450R-S in 2022, so it is a CRF450R seat, a CRF250R seat, a CRF450RL seat, a CRF450L seat and a CRF450X seat for those years. What is the CRF 450R seat height, and what does this seat change?
Honda gives the 2020 CRF450R seat height as 37.8 inches and the 2021 CRF250R seat height as 37.8 inches, so the CRF 450R seat height and the CRF 250R seat height both start at 37.8 inches. The Element Seat comes in Low, Standard and Tall. Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat and 7-3/4 inches (197 mm) wide, Standard matches it at 7-5/8 inches (194 mm), and Tall is 1 inch (25 mm) taller and 7.5 inches (190 mm) wide.
Will the Element Seat hold up in mud and rain?
It is built for it. The seams are sealed and the foam is wrapped in a water barrier, so rain stays out of the foam.
Which colors and ribs can I choose?
The sides and top come in black or red wire gripper, and the ribs come in black, red, white or cobalt blue, or you can choose no ribs. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
What is Comfort XL?
Comfort XL keeps the factory height and widens the seat to 9-1/8 inches (232 mm), compared with 7-5/8 inches (194 mm) for the regular Comfort width. Comfort XL is built in the Standard height only.

Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee.
