What is the Seat Concepts BMW R1200GSA and R1250GSA Comfort Seat?
The Comfort Seat is built to level out the riding surface and stop you from sliding into the tank, which makes long adventure tours much more enjoyable. A wider, more supportive platform lets you focus on the road ahead. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. It is a BMW R1200GSA seat and a BMW R1200GS Adventure seat, sold as a front complete seat or as a Foam & Cover Kit.
Which BMW GS Adventure models and years does it fit?

What is the BMW R 1200 GS Adventure seat height, and what does this seat change?
Whatever your BMW R 1200 GS Adventure seat height or R1200GSA seat height is today, the Comfort Seat changes it by the height you choose, and the same goes for the R1250GSA seat height. Low is 1.37 inches (35 mm) lower than the factory R1200GSA seat and 12-3/4 inches (324 mm) wide, Standard is 1/2 inch (13 mm) lower than the factory seat at 12.5 inches (318 mm), Intermediate matches the factory GSA seat height and is 14 inches (356 mm) wide, and Tall is 1-1/4 inches (32 mm) taller and 13-1/4 inches (337 mm) wide.
Is there a BMW R1200GSA low seat?
Yes. Low is 1.37 inches (35 mm) lower than the factory R1200GSA seat, so it works as a BMW R1200GSA low seat and a BMW R1200GS Adventure low seat for shorter riders.
What are the rear cover and rear kit options?
The front complete seat is $449.60. Adding a rear cover is $499.60, and adding a rear foam and cover kit is $549.60. The Foam & Cover Kit alone is $329.60 in Tall, with a rear cover it is $379.60, and the Front & Rear Foam & Cover Kit is $449.60.
Which covers can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, and the top comes in black sandpaper or black semi-grip. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear.
How long does an R1200GSA Comfort Seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee.
