It is a Foam & Cover Kit for the seat you already have, not a complete seat. The kit reshapes the foam to stop you from sliding forward into the gas tank, rounds the edges so every movement feels natural, and helps you ride longer without getting sore. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. It is a BMW R1200GS seat kit and a BMW R1200GS Adventure seat kit for the 2004 to 2013 bikes.
Which BMW GS models and years does it fit?

What is the BMW R1200GS seat height, and what does the kit change?
The BMW R1200GS seat height is whatever your seat measures today, and the kit changes it by the height you choose: that goes for the R1200GS seat height, the BMW R 1200 GS seat height and the R1200GSA seat height. Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory GS seat and needs the factory low pan. Standard matches the factory seat, and it is 1-3/4 inches lower on a GSA. Tall is 1 inch (25 mm) taller than the GSA seat and 2.5 inches (64 mm) taller than the GS seat. All three are 14 inches (356 mm) wide.
Is there a BMW R1200GS low seat?
Yes, but the Low height requires the factory low pan. Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory GS seat, so it works as a BMW R1200GS low seat and a BMW R 1200 GS low seat, and a BMW R1200GS Adventure low seat for a shorter rider.

Which covers can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, and the top comes in black sandpaper or black semi-grip. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear.
How long does an R1200GS seat kit take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee.
