What is the Seat Concepts BMW F800GS Comfort Seat?
The Comfort Seat is a complete seat that levels the surface so you stop sliding forward into the tank. A wider shape and rounded edges keep your legs feeling good on long highway stretches or dirt trails, which makes big-mile days much easier on your body. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. It is an F800GS comfort seat, an F700GS comfort seat and an F650GS comfort seat for the twin-cylinder BMW GS.
Which BMW GS models and years does it fit?
It fits the BMW F650GS from 2008 to 2012, the F700GS from 2012 to 2018 and the F800GS from 2008 to 2018, so it is an F800GS seat, an F700GS seat and an F650GS seat for those years. What is the BMW F800GS seat height, and what does this seat change?
Whatever your BMW F800GS seat height is today, the Comfort Seat changes it by the height you choose, and the same goes for the F800GS seat height, the BMW F650GS seat height, the F650GS seat height and the BMW F700GS seat height. Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat and 12 inches (305 mm) wide, Standard matches it at 12-1/4 inches (311 mm), and Tall is 1-1/4 inches (32 mm) taller and 12-1/4 inches wide.
Is there a BMW F800GS low seat?
Yes. Low is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory seat, so it works as a BMW F800GS low seat, an F800GS low seat, an F700GS low seat and an F650GS low seat for shorter riders.
Which covers can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, and the top comes in black sandpaper or black semi-grip. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear.
How long does an F800GS Comfort Seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee.
