What is the Seat Concepts BMW G 310 GS and G 310 R Comfort Seat Cover?
It is a Foam & Cover Kit for the seat you already have, not a complete seat. The factory seat on a BMW G 310 GS or G 310 R often pushes you too far forward, and the kit levels out the platform so you can sit in a natural, relaxed position. Rounded edges and a wider shape keep you comfortable on long commutes or weekend trips. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which BMW G 310 models and years does it fit?
It fits the BMW G310GS and the G310R from 2018 to 2025, so it rebuilds a BMW G310R seat and a BMW G310GS seat, a G310R seat and a G310GS seat for those years.
What is the BMW G310R seat height, and what does the kit change?
The standard seat is 785 mm (30.9 inches) on the G 310 R and 835 mm (32.9 inches) on the G 310 GS. That is the BMW G310R seat height, the G310R seat height, the BMW G310GS seat height, the G310GS seat height, the BMW G 310 GS seat height and the BMW G 310 seat height before you change the seat. The kit comes in Standard and Tall. Standard matches the factory height at 11-3/4 inches (298 mm) wide, and Tall is 1-1/2 inches taller and 11.5 inches (292 mm) wide.
Is there a BMW G310GS low seat?
Not in this kit. It comes in Standard and Tall only, so we do not offer a BMW G310GS low seat, a BMW G 310 GS low seat, a G310GS low seat or a BMW G310R low seat. Standard keeps the factory height.
Which covers can I choose?
You can choose black carbon fiber sides, or black vinyl sides on the Tall height, with a black semi-grip top on the Standard height and a black sandpaper, black semi-grip or black diamante top on the Tall height. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear. Black diamante is a suede-like synthetic made to match the factory synthetic suede on production street and adventure bikes, and it is flexible with moderate grip. Black vinyl is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with the classic Seat Concepts look and low grip, so you can move freely on the seat.
Is this a complete seat?
No. It is a Foam & Cover Kit, so you get new foam and a new cover together for your existing seat base. There is no cover-only option, so it is not a BMW G310R seat cover on its own.
How long does a G 310 GS seat kit take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee.
