What is the Seat Concepts V-Strom 650 Comfort Seat Cover for 2012 to 2016?
The Comfort Seat Cover is a Foam & Cover Kit for the 2012 to 2016 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom. It is not a complete seat. It rebuilds a V-Strom 650 seat and a DL650 seat in one, with new foam and a new cover together, and the foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which years does it fit?
It fits the 2012 to 2016 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom, so it rebuilds a vstrom 650 seat and a DL 650 seat for those years. For 2017 to 2025 bikes, see the 2017 to 2025 V-Strom seat cover.
Does it change the seat height?
Standard matches the factory seat and is 14.5 inches (368 mm) wide. Tall is 1 inch (25 mm) higher than the factory seat and 14 inches (356 mm) wide. The length is the same as the factory seat.
Which covers can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. The top is black sandpaper or black carbon fiber. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear.
How long does a V-Strom seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts kit is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each kit is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every kit is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
