What is the Seat Concepts Comfort Seat for the Sur Ron?
The Comfort Seat is a complete replacement Sur Ron seat for the Light Bee, made by Seat Concepts. It levels out the sitting area, makes the platform wider and gets rid of the forward slope of the factory seat, so you stay in the right spot while you ride. It is built with a special foam that gives good support without feeling too stiff. It is the Surron seat to look at if you want comfort over grip, and it is made for anyone who wants more time on the trails and less time taking breaks.
How is the Comfort Seat different from the factory (OEM) Sur Ron seat?
The factory seat can make long rides feel rough. Compared with the Surron Light Bee OEM seat or the Surron Light Bee X OEM seat, the Comfort Seat levels the sitting area, widens the platform and removes the forward slope. The foam is a special Seat Concepts foam that supports you without feeling too stiff, and the cover materials are tough.
Is the Comfort Seat a good Sur Ron seat upgrade for long rides?
It is the Seat Concepts option built for comfort, so it is the one to look at for a Sur Ron seat upgrade if you ride for long stretches. The wider platform and level surface keep you in position, so you spend more time on the trails and less time taking breaks. If grip for racing matters more to you, look at the Race 2.0 Seat instead.
Is it a complete seat, and does it work as a Sur Ron replacement seat?
Yes. It is sold as a complete seat, not as a cover or a foam kit. As a Sur Ron seat replacement (also called a Surron seat replacement), you take off the factory seat and fit the Comfort Seat in its place. That is the whole Sur Ron bike seat swap. Check the fitment above before you order.
Can I choose the cover, and is there a custom Sur Ron seat look?
There are two cover pairings. One has black carbon fiber sides with a black sandpaper top, and the other has black wire sides with a black wire top. You choose the finish when you order, and the price is the same for both. Both are black. A Sur Ron custom seat in this range means choosing the cover, and if you want color, the Race 2.0 Seat has orange, green and grey rib colors.
Can I buy just a Sur Ron seat cover?
No. The Comfort Seat is a complete seat with the cover already fitted, and we do not sell a separate Surron Light Bee seat cover or a Surron Light Bee X seat cover. If you were looking for Surron seat covers because your own seat is fine and you only want a new cover, this is not that product. If you want the cover finish with the seat, choose between the two pairings above.
Will it fit a Sur Ron Ultra Bee, Storm Bee or Light Bee S?
Those models are not covered by the fitment above, which is for the Surron from 2018 on and written for the Light Bee. The Ultra Bee, Storm Bee and Light Bee S are different bikes, so please ask us with your model before you order. If you only want the Sur Ron Ultra Bee seat height, the Sur Ron Light Bee S seat height or the Sur Ron Storm Bee seat height for your own factory seat, use the figures in Sur-Ron's specifications.
Is there a Sur Ron passenger seat or a 2 seater?
We offer two Sur Ron seats, the Comfort Seat and the Race 2.0 Seat, and neither is a Sur Ron passenger seat or a Sur Ron 2 seater. If you need one, ask us before you order.
What is the Sur Ron seat price?
The Comfort Seat is $269.60 whichever cover pairing you choose, and the Race 2.0 Seat is $249.60 in every rib color. Both are complete seats built to order.
Is this an electric bike seat made for the Sur Ron?
Yes. It is made for the Surron from 2018 on, with its own fitment, and it is not a universal seat. It is a Sur Ron electric bike seat.
What is the difference between the Comfort Seat and the Race 2.0 Seat?
The Comfort Seat is shaped for comfort: level, wide and without the forward slope, at $269.60. The Race 2.0 Seat is shaped for grip: ribs on the cover keep you from sliding back when you twist the throttle, at $249.60. Choose Comfort for long trail days and Race 2.0 for aggressive riding or racing.
Is Just Gas Tanks an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and how long does delivery take?
Yes. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer. Every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and premium cover materials and individually inspected before shipment. Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee.
