What is the Seat Concepts Comfort Seat for the KTM 1290 Super Adventure?
The Comfort Seat is a complete seat that fixes the shape of the rider platform, so you swap it for your old one. It rounds off the edges and removes the slope that pushes you toward the front of the bike. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. It is a KTM 1290 Super Adventure comfort seat.
Which years does it fit?
It fits the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S and R from 2022 to 2024, and the 1290 Super Adventure S and R EU models from 2021 to 2024, so it is a KTM 1290 Super Adventure R seat for those years.
What is the 1290 Super Adventure S seat height, and what does this seat change?
It changes your 1290 Super Adventure S seat height by the height you choose. Standard is 5/8 inch (16 mm) taller than the factory two-piece seat in its low setting and 13-1/2 inches (343 mm) wide. Tall is 2 inches (51 mm) taller than the factory seat and 11-1/4 inches (286 mm) wide. The length stays the same as the factory seat.
Is there a KTM 1290 Super Adventure low seat?
Not in this seat. Standard is 5/8 inch (16 mm) taller than the factory two-piece seat in its low setting, so we do not offer a KTM 1290 Super Adventure low seat or a KTM 1290 Super Adventure R low seat.
Which covers and thread colors can I choose?
The sides come in black carbon fiber or black Luna, the top in black diamante, black sandpaper or black semi-grip, and the thread is black or orange. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear. Black diamante is a suede-like synthetic made to match the factory synthetic suede on production street and adventure bikes, and it is flexible with moderate grip.
How long does a KTM 1290 Super Adventure seat take to arrive?
