What is the Seat Concepts Beta Alp 4.0 and Alp X Comfort Seat?
The Comfort Seat is a complete seat that widens the seating area and levels out the surface, so you do not slide forward toward the tank on long days. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which years does it fit?
It fits the Beta Alp 4.0 and Alp X from 2026 on.
What is the Beta Alp 4.0 seat height, and what does this seat change?
The Beta Alp 4.0 seat height is 865 mm (34.1 inches) on the 2024 and 2025 bikes, and the Alp X is 855 mm (33.7 inches). The seat is 3 inches (76 mm) wider than the factory seat in every height. Low is 0.85 inch (22 mm) lower, Standard keeps the factory height, and Tall is 1 inch (25 mm) taller. The length stays the same as the factory seat.
Which covers can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, and the top is black sandpaper or black semi-grip. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear.
Is this a complete seat?
It is a complete seat, so you swap it for your old one. There is no kit option.
How long does a Beta Alp 4.0 seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
