Choose from Standard, Low, or Tall heights to get the exact feel you want on your bike. The proprietary foam is more comfortable than the stock seat but still firm enough for racing. You can order it as a foam and cover kit or just a new cover.

What is the Seat Concepts YZ125 and YZ250 Race 2.0 Seat Cover?
The Race 2.0 is sold as a Foam & Cover Kit or as a Cover Only, not as a complete seat. Special traction ribs keep you firmly in place during hard starts and heavy braking, pro race teams helped design it for the best grip on the track, and the foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. It is a YZ250 gripper seat kit for riders who want to stay locked in while pushing their limits.
Which YZ models and years does it fit?

What is the YZ 250 seat height, and what does the Race 2.0 change?
Yamaha gives the 2025 YZ125 as 38.6 inches, the 2025 YZ250 as 38.4 inches, the 2025 YZ125X as 38.2 inches and the 2025 YZ250X as 38.4 inches. That is the YZ 250 seat height, the YZ 125 seat height and the YZ125X seat height before you change the seat. The kit comes in Low, Standard and Tall. Low is 7/8 inch (22 mm) lower than the factory seat, Standard matches it, and Tall is 1 inch taller. The width and length stay the same as the factory seat.
Is there a YZ250 low seat or a YZ250 tall seat?
Yes. Low is 7/8 inch (22 mm) lower, which makes it a YZ250 low seat and a YZ125 low seat. Tall is 1 inch taller, which makes it a YZ250 tall seat.
Can I buy a YZ250 seat cover or a YZ125 seat cover on its own?
Yes. Choose Cover Only for a YZ250 seat cover, a YZ 250 seat cover, a YZ125 seat cover or a YZ 125 seat cover for your own foam. The Foam & Cover Kit gives you new foam and the cover together, and it is not a complete seat.
Which colors can I choose?
The sides and top come in black or cobalt blue wire gripper, and the ribs come in black, cobalt blue or white. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
How long does a YZ125 Race 2.0 kit take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
