It has special ribs at the back to give you extra grip when you twist the throttle. This seat keeps you planted and comfortable through every puddle and turn.
The interior is seam-sealed and wrapped in a water barrier to stop moisture from soaking into the foam. This high-quality foam stays soft yet supportive for long days in the saddle. We offer this complete seat in Standard, Low, and Tall heights so you can find your ideal riding position.

What is the Seat Concepts KTM SX, XC and EXC Element Seat for 2018 to 2023?
The Element Seat is a complete seat for riders who hit the trails when the weather looks bad, from muddy trails to fast motocross tracks. Special ribs at the back give you extra grip when you twist the throttle, and the foam is protected by a water barrier and sealed seams. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which KTM models and years does it fit?
It fits the KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition in 2018; the 125 SX, 150 SX, 250 SX, 250 SX-F, 350 SX-F, 450 SX-F, 125 XC, 250 XC, 300 XC, 250 XC-F, 350 XC-F and 450 XC-F from 2019 to 2022; the 350 EXC-F, 450 EXC-F, 500 EXC-F and the 250, 350 and 500 EXC-F Six Days from 2020 to 2023; the 350 XCF-W, 500 XCF-W, 150 XC-W TPI, 250 XC-W TPI, 300 XC-W TPI, 250 XC TPI and 300 XC TPI from 2020 to 2022; the 450 SMR in 2022; and the 450 XCF-W and the 150 XC-W, 250 XC-W and 300 XC-W in 2023. What is the KTM SX 125 seat height, and what does the Element change?
KTM gives the 2025 125 SX seat height as 958 mm (37.7 inches). That is the KTM SX 125 seat height and the KTM 125 SX seat height before you change the seat, and the KTM 250 SX seat height, KTM 250 SX-F seat height and KTM 450 SX-F seat height start from the factory seat too. The Element Seat comes in Low, Standard and Tall. Low is 13/16 inch (21 mm) lower than the factory seat and 8 inches (203 mm) wide, Standard matches it at 7-3/8 inches (187 mm), and Tall is 5/8 inch (17 mm) taller and 7.5 inches (190 mm) wide.
What are the KTM XC, XC-W and EXC-F seat heights?
KTM gives the 2025 250 EXC-F, 350 EXC-F and 500 EXC-F seat height as 963 mm (37.9 inches) and the 2025 300 XC as 954 mm (37.6 inches). That is the KTM 300 XC seat height, the KTM 350 EXC-F seat height and the KTM 500 EXC-F seat height before you change the seat, and the KTM 150 XC-W seat height and the KTM 300 XC-W seat height move by the same amount when you choose Low or Tall.
Will the Element Seat hold up in mud and rain?
It is built for it. The seams are sealed and the foam is wrapped in a water barrier, so rain stays out of the foam.
Which colors and ribs can I choose?
The sides and top come in black, cobalt blue, grey or midnight blue wire gripper, and the ribs come in black, blood red, grey, midnight blue, orange or white. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
What is Comfort XL?
Comfort XL keeps the factory height and widens the seat to 9.5 inches (241 mm), compared with 7-3/8 inches (187 mm) for the regular Comfort width. Comfort XL is built in the Standard height only.
How long does a KTM SX Element Seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
