It helps you stay in one spot instead of sliding toward the gas tank every time you hit the brakes. The foam is designed to support your weight without bottoming out, making it much more plush than the original. Since riders come in all sizes, you can choose between Standard, Low, or Tall heights to fit your legs perfectly. These are complete seats, so you just swap your old one out and get back to riding.

What is the Seat Concepts Comfort Seat for the 2022 and newer KTM SX, XC and EXC?
The Comfort Seat is a complete seat that widens the seating area and levels out the slope, so you stay in one spot instead of sliding toward the tank. It is a KTM EXC comfort seat, a KTM 450 EXC comfort seat and a KTM 500 EXC comfort seat for the newer bikes. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which KTM models and years does it fit?
It fits the KTM 450 SX-F and 250 SX-F, including the Factory Editions, from 2022 to 2027; the 450 XC-F, 450 SX-F, 350 XC-F, 350 SX-F, 250 XC-F, 300 XC, 300 SX, 250 XC, 250 SX, 125 XC, 125 SX and 450 SMR from 2023 to 2027; the 500 EXC-F, 500 XW-F, 450 XCF-W, 350 EXC-F, 350 XW-F, 300 XC-W, 250 XC-W and 150 XC-W from 2024 to 2027; the 250 EXC-F and 300 EXC from 2026 to 2027; and the 500, 450, 350 and 250 EXC-F 6DAYS and 300 EXC 6DAYS in 2026. What is the KTM SX 125 seat height, and what does this seat change?
KTM gives the 2025 125 SX seat height as 958 mm (37.7 inches). That is the KTM SX 125 seat height and the KTM 125 SX seat height before you change the seat, and the KTM 250 SX seat height, KTM 250 SX-F seat height, KTM 450 SX-F seat height and KTM 450 SMR seat height start from the factory seat too. The Comfort Seat comes in Low, Standard and Tall. Low is 7/16 inch (11 mm) lower than the factory seat and 8.5 inches (216 mm) wide, Standard matches it at 8 inches (203 mm), and Tall is 3/4 inch (19 mm) taller and 8 inches (203 mm) wide.
What are the KTM XC, XC-W and EXC-F seat heights?
KTM gives the 2025 250 EXC-F, 350 EXC-F and 500 EXC-F seat height as 963 mm (37.9 inches) and the 2025 300 XC as 954 mm (37.6 inches). That is the KTM 300 XC seat height, the KTM 350 EXC-F seat height and the KTM 500 EXC-F seat height before you change the seat, and the KTM 125 XC seat height, KTM 150 XC-W seat height and KTM 300 XC-W seat height move by the same amount when you choose Low or Tall.
Is there a KTM 500 EXC low seat?
Yes. Low is 7/16 inch (11 mm) lower than the factory seat, so it works as a KTM 500 EXC low seat for shorter riders.
What is Comfort XL?
Comfort XL keeps the factory height and widens the seat to 9-7/8 inches (251 mm), compared with 8 inches (203 mm) for the regular Comfort width. Comfort XL is built in the Standard height only.
Which covers can I choose?
You can choose black carbon fiber, grey Luna, midnight blue Luna or orange semi-grip sides with a black sandpaper, black semi-grip, grey Luna, midnight blue Luna or orange semi-grip top. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear.
How long does a KTM Comfort Seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
