What is the Seat Concepts Yamaha Tracer 900 Comfort Seat Cover?
The Comfort Seat Cover is a Foam & Cover Kit for the 2019 to 2020 Yamaha Tracer 900. It is not a complete seat. It builds the comfort seat Tracer 900 owners choose for long days, and a comfort seat Yamaha Tracer 900 riders can fit. It levels out the seat and widens it to 12-1/8 inches (308 mm), and the foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which years does it fit?
It fits the Yamaha Tracer 900 from 2019 to 2020, which is called the MT-09 Tracer in some markets, so it rebuilds an MT 09 Tracer seat. For a newer Tracer 9 or Tracer 9 GT, ask us with your year before you order.
What is the Tracer 900 seat height with this kit?
The kit comes in Standard height only, which matches the factory seat. It does not change the Tracer 900 seat height, the Yamaha Tracer 900 seat height, the 2019 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT seat height or the 2020 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT seat height. If you searched for the Tracer 9 seat height, Yamaha Tracer 9 seat height or Tracer 9 GT seat height, those are for the newer Tracer 9.
Which kit should I choose?
The Foam & Cover Kit covers the front seat, and the Foam & Cover Kit with Rear Cover also includes a cover for the rear seat.
Which covers can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. The top is black sandpaper or black semi-grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear.
How long does a Tracer 900 seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts kit is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each kit is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every kit is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
