2025 Tenere 700 Comfort Seat FAQ
What is the Seat Concepts 2025 Tenere 700 Comfort Seat?
The 2025 Tenere 700 Comfort Seat is a Complete Seat from Seat Concepts. It widens the seating area and levels the surface so you do not slide forward into the tank. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam, and the covers are made for sun, mud and daily wear. It is the 2025 Tenere 700 seat for long days on pavement and trail.
Which Tenere 700 years does the 2025 seat fit?
This seat fits the 2025 and newer Yamaha Tenere 700. If your bike is a 2019 to 2024 Tenere 700, there is a separate Comfort Seat made for those years, and the World Raid has its own kit.
What is the 2025 Tenere 700 seat height, and what does this seat change?
Yamaha gives the 2025 Tenere 700 seat height as 34.4 inches (about 874 mm). With this seat, Low is 1/2 inch lower than the factory seat, Standard is the same height as the factory seat, and Tall is 1.1 inches higher.
Is there a 2025 Tenere 700 low seat?
Yes. Choose Low for a 2025 Tenere 700 low seat. It is 1/2 inch lower than the factory seat and 11-1/4 inches wide. If you need a bigger drop, the 2025 Rally Seat has a Low that is 7/8 inch lower than the factory seat.
Is there a 2025 Tenere 700 tall seat?
Yes. Choose Tall for a 2025 Tenere 700 tall seat. It is 1.1 inches higher than the factory seat and 11-7/8 inches wide.
How wide is the 2025 Tenere 700 Comfort Seat?
Low is 11-1/4 inches wide, Standard is 11 inches and Tall is 11-7/8 inches. The length is the same as the factory seat at every height.
Which cover finish should I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. You choose the top. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear. Black diamante is a suede-like synthetic made to match the factory synthetic suede on production street and adventure bikes, and it is flexible with moderate grip.
Is it a Complete Seat or a kit, and what does it cost?
It is a Complete Seat only, with no kit version. The price is $429.60 at every height and cover finish.
