What is the Seat Concepts Triumph Bonneville Comfort Seat Cover?
The Comfort Seat Cover is a Foam & Cover Kit for the classic Triumph Bonneville, Scrambler and Thruxton. It is not a complete seat. It changes the shape so you stop sliding forward into the tank, and it levels out the platform, so a daily commute or a long ride is less sore. The foam stays supportive for hours, and the Triumph Bonneville seat keeps the classic style of the bike.
Which Triumph models and years does the kit fit?
It fits the Triumph Bonneville and Bonneville SE from 2001 to 2015, the Bonneville T100 from 2001 to 2016, the Triumph Scrambler from 2006 to 2016 and the Triumph Thruxton from 2004 to 2015. A 2007 Triumph Bonneville seat and a 2013 Triumph Bonneville seat are both covered. It rebuilds a Triumph Bonneville T100 seat and a Triumph Scrambler seat as well.
What is the Triumph Bonneville seat height with this kit?
The kit comes in Tall only. It is 1.5 inches (38 mm) taller than the factory seat and 11 inches (279 mm) wide, with the same length as the factory seat. That applies to the Triumph Bonneville seat height, the Triumph Bonneville T100 seat height and the Triumph Scrambler seat height alike.
Is this a Triumph Bonneville replacement seat?
It is a Triumph Bonneville replacement seat kit, sold as a Foam & Cover Kit, with new foam and a new cover together. As a Triumph Bonneville seat replacement it takes the place of the factory foam and cover, and the Triumph Bonneville comfort seat shape is wider and more level than the factory seat. It also works as a Thruxton seat and a Triumph Thruxton seat for the models above.
Can I order a Bonneville custom seat with my choice of cover?
Yes. For a Bonneville custom seat, you choose the cover. The buyable covers are black carbon fiber sides with a black carbon fiber top, black vinyl sides with a black embossed top, or black vinyl sides with a black sandpaper top. Black vinyl is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with the classic Seat Concepts look and low grip, so you can move freely on the seat. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear.
How long does a Triumph Bonneville seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts kit is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each kit is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee.
