What is the Seat Concepts SWM RS300R and SM500R Comfort Seat Cover?
It is a Foam & Cover Kit for the seat you already have, not a complete seat. It changes the shape to a wider, more level place to sit, so you stop sliding forward whether you commute or explore dirt roads. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which years does it fit?
It fits the SWM RS300R and SM500R from 2015 to 2018. For the newer bikes, see the 2019 to 2024 Comfort Seat Cover.
Does the kit change the seat height?
No. It comes in Standard height only, the same as the factory seat, and it is 7-5/8 inches (194 mm) wide with the same length as the factory seat.
Which covers can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, and the top is black sandpaper or black semi-grip. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear.
Is this a complete seat?
It is a Foam & Cover Kit, so you get new foam and a new cover together for your existing seat base. There is no cover-only option.
How long does an SWM seat kit take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
