What is the Seat Concepts Comfort Seat for the KTM 1090, 1190 and 1290 Adventure?
The Comfort Seat levels out the riding platform so you stop sliding toward the tank. You can buy it as a complete seat or as a Foam & Cover Kit for the seat you already have. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. It is a KTM 1190 Adventure comfort seat, a KTM 1190 Adventure R comfort seat and a KTM 1090 Adventure R comfort seat.
Which KTM Adventure models and years does it fit?
It fits the KTM 1090 Adventure and 1090 Adventure R from 2017 to 2019, the 1190 Adventure and 1190 Adventure R from 2013 to 2019, and the 1290 Adventure and 1290 Adventure R from 2013 to 2020, so it is a KTM 1090 Adventure seat, a KTM 1190 Adventure seat and a KTM 1290 Adventure seat. What is the KTM 1190 Adventure seat height, and what does this seat change?
It changes your KTM 1190 Adventure seat height, KTM 1090 Adventure seat height, KTM 1290 Adventure seat height, KTM 1190 Adventure R seat height, KTM 1090 Adventure R seat height and KTM 1290 Adventure R seat height by the option you choose. The Complete Seat in Standard keeps the factory seat height and is 12.5 inches (318 mm) wide, and the Complete Seat in Tall is 1 inch (25 mm) taller and 12 inches (305 mm) wide. The kits keep the factory seat height and are 12.5 inches (318 mm) wide.
Is there a KTM 1190 Adventure low seat?
Not in the Comfort Seat. The options keep the factory height or, in the Tall Complete Seat, add 1 inch (25 mm), so we do not offer a KTM 1190 Adventure low seat, a KTM 1090 Adventure low seat, a KTM 1190 Adventure R low seat or a KTM 1090 Adventure R low seat in this model.
Which covers can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, and the top is black sandpaper or black semi-grip. The Complete Seat in Tall also comes with a black diamante top. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear. Black diamante is a suede-like synthetic made to match the factory synthetic suede on production street and adventure bikes, and it is flexible with moderate grip.
Is this a complete seat or a kit?
Both. The Complete Seat is ready to bolt onto your bike, and the Foam & Cover Kits rebuild the seat you already own. There is no cover-only option.
How long does a KTM Adventure Comfort Seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
What does the KTM Adventure Comfort Seat cost?
The Foam & Cover Kit is $329.60, the kit with a rear cover is $389.60 and the Front & Rear Foam & Cover Kit is $499.60. The Complete Seat is $439.60 in Standard and $449.60 in Tall.
