1976-1977 Jeep CJ 15 gallon gas tank. This tank requires the 15 gal. OEM style skid plate for installation. Includes new lock ring and O-ring. Dimensions 23" x 16" x 10". Replaces # 5355314 and # 8127698.
This tank fits the 1972-1975 Jeep CJ but requires the 15 gal. OEM style skid plate, top strap and end straps. The original metal tank was bolted directly to the frame of the CJ.
When installing our 0050 or 0050XL tanks, the best fill and vent hoses are our CJFH-2 and CJVH-2 regardless of year. Our manufacturering process does not allow for a long vent neck so the CJVH-3 and CJVH-4 hoses are too short when attached to the matching fill hose.
This tank also fits 1972-73 Jeepster C101 and 1971-1973 DJ but requires the 15 gal. OEM style skid plate, top strap and end straps. Using the required skid plate will require some custom installation work when bolting the skid plate to the frame of the vehicle.
