Vent-side match to filler hose CJFH-4, for the 1976 long fill/vent neck metal tank. Not compatible with plastic tanks — use CJVH-2 for those.
Rubber fuel hose hardens and cracks with age, and ethanol-blended fuel accelerates that breakdown compared to the gasoline these vehicles were originally designed around — a cracked filler or vent hose is a slow leak and a fuel smell waiting to happen. Getting the length and diameter right here is what makes for a tight, lasting seal instead of another hose clamped over a hardened, brittle stub.
