Your bike's stock computer pulls back ignition timing every time you shift, to protect the gearbox. That's called timing retard, and it costs you power right when you're on the throttle hardest, coming out of a corner or off the line. The X-Tre Power Box sits between your ECU and the shift cut sensor and cancels that retard out, so the ignition timing stays where it should be through the whole shift. The result is a sharper, harder-hitting shift with no flat spot in the power delivery.

What's included when I buy this?

Does it work with an ignition advancer module?
Yes. The X-Tre doesn't change ignition timing itself, it just forces the ECU to use its best gear map in every gear, so it plays nicely with advancer modules and fuel injection tuners.
Do I need to do anything after disconnecting the battery?
No, nothing. Settings are retained.
Will this work alongside my Power Commander?
Yes, and it actually complements it. A Power Commander only remaps the fuel table for one gear map. The X-Tre locks your ECU into the unrestricted map across every gear, which a Power Commander can't do on its own.
Do I need to redo my Power Commander map after installing this?
No. Most Power Commander maps are tuned in 4th gear, where the X-Tre has no effect.
