Product Description
Exhaust Servo Eliminator, or ESE. Some bikes run a small electric motor, the exhaust servo, that opens and closes a valve in the exhaust to control noise and torque at different RPM. Swap that exhaust for an aftermarket one and the servo motor is usually deleted along with it, but the ECU still expects to see it working and throws a fault code when it doesn't respond. This module plugs in where the servo used to be and sends back the exact signal the ECU is looking for, so the computer thinks the servo is still there and the error clears.
Key Features
- Removing the OEM exhaust servo motor and its wiring can shed close to a kilogram and frees up real under-seat space, this module lets you do that cleanly.
- A small built-in processor keeps the ECU satisfied whether you've swapped the exhaust, added a fuel controller, or both.
- Every version is a straight plug-in swap where the servo motor used to connect, no cutting or splicing.
- Size: 30 x 20 x 13 mm (1.18 x 0.78 x 0.51 inches)
- Weight: 25g
FAQ
What's included when I buy this?
The ESE module with its Plug 'n Go connector, ready to swap in where your exhaust servo motor used to connect.
Will removing my exhaust servo trip a check engine light without this?
Yes, on most bikes. The ECU expects a response from the servo motor and throws a fault code when it doesn't get one.
Does this affect performance or just clear the error?
It just clears the error. It sends the ECU the exact signal it's expecting, so the fault code goes away and nothing else changes.
