What is the Seat Concepts Gas Gas Gripper Seat?
The Gripper Seat is a complete seat with a high-traction cover that keeps you glued to the bike on steep climbs and muddy turns, so you stop sliding around on the plastic. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. It replaces your factory seat in minutes.
Which Gas Gas models and years does it fit?
It fits the Gas Gas MC250F and MC450F Factory Edition from 2023 on, and the EC, ES, EW, EX and MC 125 to 500 models from 2024 on. For the water-resistant version, see the Element Seat, for the racing version, see the Race 2.0 Seat, and for the lightest option, see the Grip Pro Seat.
Which heights and widths can I choose?
The Gripper Seat comes in Low, Standard and Tall in the Comfort width, and in Standard in the wider Comfort XL width.
Which covers can I choose?
The sides come in black carbon fiber, blood red wire or red Luna, and the top in black sandpaper, blood red wire or red Luna. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Wire gripper has a mechanical gripping texture that gives a high level of grip and limits movement on the seat in all conditions.
Is this a complete seat?
It is a complete seat, so you swap it for your old one. There is no kit option.
How long does a Gas Gas Gripper Seat take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
