Later than the pre-emissions early Bronco auxiliary tank (SKU 4239), this version adds the emission fitting these model years require. Same front-mounted auxiliary position, same lock-ring install, cross-referenced to Ford part D3TZ-9002-A.
By the time a steel tank rusts through, the fuel it's been holding has usually already picked up rust flakes that foul filters and injectors downstream. Swapping to this polyethylene tank removes that source of contamination for good, provided the capacity and mounting details match your application exactly.
