This sending unit is built for the 12-gallon tank on the International Harvester Scout 80 (after serial #FC35340) and Scout 800/800A/800B, and fits either the left or right side mount. It's matched to an ohm range of Full 10, Empty 73, so the fuel gauge reads accurately instead of just moving the same problem to a new part. Includes a new 6-hole gasket. Replaces OEM part number 860097R91.

Fuel gauges don't usually fail gradually — they're fine, then suddenly wrong, and a bad sending unit is almost always the reason. This one matches the OEM ohm range and mounting pattern so the gauge reads correctly from the first mile.
